HOW IT WORKS

Every class I teach is custom. Whether you are gathering a few girlfriends in your living room, planning a birthday experience, or organizing a neighborhood girls' night, I will work with you to create something that fits your group perfectly. No rigid formats, no one-size-fits-all. Just a great evening of learning, laughing, and tiles.

I come to you - your home, your venue, your space. I bring everything we need including the tiles, racks, cards, and mat. All you have to do is show up. Every student also leaves with my Mahjong 101 Student Guide, a beautifully designed reference sheet they can keep and use every time they play going forward.

THE DETAILS

Class length All classes run 2 to 3 hours. Mahjong takes time to learn well and I never rush it. You will leave knowing how to play a real game from start to finish.

Group size Minimum of 4 people required to book. I recommend 8 and here is why:

Mahjong is a 4-player game, which means you need exactly 4 people at the table at all times. When you learn with a group of 8, two full tables are playing simultaneously, everyone gets more hands in, and the energy in the room is incredible. But more practically - life happens. Someone gets sick, a kid has a meltdown, plans change. With 8 people who all know how to play, you will always have a backup when someone cannot make it to your future game nights. Learning together as a group of 8 is honestly one of the best gifts you can give your friend group.

What I bring Tiles, racks, cards, and mat - everything needed for a complete game. You provide the space and the people. I handle the rest.

What your students take home Every student receives my Mahjong 101 Student Guide at no extra cost - a branded, beautifully designed reference guide covering everything from tile types to the Charleston to their first game.

Pricing $60 per person for a full class experience.

For events, corporate gatherings, or larger group bookings, pricing is custom based on the size and scope of your event. Reach out and I will put together something that works for you.

Where I teach I travel to your home or your venue anywhere in the DFW area, including McKinney, Frisco, Plano, Allen, and surrounding communities. I am open to traveling further.

Not local to DFW? I've got you. I am happy to teach a private group of four or a one-on-one session virtually.
